Amazon starts paid sampling service which is optimised by Machine learning.

This earlier year Forbes reported that Amazon had started a paid for sampling service for CPG Brands. Which is a big step forward for the retailer, it provides another avenue for brands to start sampling as part of their digital advertising spend.

What?

It was reported that free samples optimised by Machine Learning (ML) have a higher likelihood of conversion than display ads.

Amazon is already the 3rd largest digital advertising platform in the US behind Facebook and Google – the inclusion of offline sampling to drive conversion highlights the importance of customers for CPG products getting to smell, taste and touch a product before they purchase.
